Male Pelvic Physiotherapy: Foundations and Fundamentals

About the speakers

Pierre Röscher

PhD (Urology), MPhysT, BSc Physiotherapy

Dr Pierre Röscher is an accomplished and highly skilled Physiotherapist, Lecturer and Researcher, with 16 years’ experience working within the health and academic industry, providing, and teaching exceptional physiotherapy services with a focus on neuromusculoskeletal and pelvic health.

Pierre has completed a BSc in Physiotherapy, holds a master’s degree in Physiotherapy, and completed a PhD in Clinical Medicine (Urology). Pierre is currently employed as a lecturer and researcher at the University of Southern Queensland in Australia and co-owns and runs a specialised musculoskeletal and pelvic clinic in Brisbane, Australia, where he also practices clinically. 

Mandy Röscher

BSc Physiotherapy

Mandy qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa in 2008. She has worked in Private Practice since she qualified. She has a keen special interest in Pelvic Health. Mandy has a passion for teaching and mentoring and has presented a variety of lectures to qualified physiotherapists. Topics have included a variety of Physiotherapy based subjects particularly around Female, Male and Paediatric Pelvic Health, Sexual and Genital Pain, Anorectal Dysfunction, Musculoskeletal Assessment, Pain Neurophysiology, Pain Neuroscience Education and Communication.

Her courses are centered around the most current evidence available but are extremely clinically orientated. She focuses on the clinical application and integration of current research and practice with the goal being that course participants leave feeling their circle of competence has increased.

Mandy splits her time between being a mum, seeing patients clinically, and teaching courses to other Physiotherapists. Her flagship course: Female Pelvic Health: Foundations and Fundamentals, a course that teaches Physiotherapists how to perform safe and traumainformed internal vaginal examinations, was launched in 2021. She has since trained over 180 Australian physiotherapists in internal vaginal and rectal examination and treatment. Her self-paced online courses have been taken by over a thousand health professionals around the world.

Terms and Conditions

Registration and Payment: Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Submission of the registration form does not guarantee a place in the course. Payment must be received by the due date prior to attending the training. Further payment instructions will be provided after submission of the registration form. 

Confirmation: Registration is confirmed upon receipt of payment or issuance of an invoice.

Cancellation and Substitutions: No refunds will be provided for participant cancellations, including medical leave. Substitutes are not allowed after participants receive the online course.

Event Cancellation: Payment does not guarantee that the event will proceed as planned. If the event is cancelled, a full refund will be issued to all registered participants. No additional claims will be accepted. 

Meal Entitlements: For full-day seminars, one meal entitlement per day is provided. For half-day seminars, only coffee and tea will be available.

Food Policy: Food served will be “no pork and no lard.”

Foreign Payment Fees: Payments made from a foreign bank account may incur extra fees, including wire transfer charges and currency conversion costs. The payer is responsible for all fees involved. These fees may vary depending on the payment method and the banks involved.
